Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Castkeep ("Castkeep", "we", "us") collects when you use the Telegram bot, the website at castkeep.tv, and the vault, why we collect it, and the choices you have. Castkeep is built to hold as little about you as possible: there is no email, no password, and we do not store your videos on our own servers.

What we collect

To run the service, we store:

  • Your Telegram identifiers. The numeric Telegram user id and chat id we need to recognize you and deliver recordings to your chat, plus an optional non-sensitive label and your plan tier. We do not collect your name, email, or phone number.
  • Your watchlist and requests. The creators you add, the captures you trigger, and per-creator settings such as pausing, muting, or favoriting.
  • Recording metadata. Details about each recording (which creator, when, how long, delivery status) and a small thumbnail image so you can recognize a recording at a glance.
  • Diagnostic logs. Operational events and errors used to keep the service working and to debug failures. Logs are scrubbed of secrets and personal data at the moment they are written; we do not log stream content, message text, or your Telegram chat or user id in them.
  • A vault session cookie. When you sign in to the vault, we set one signed cookie to keep you logged in. It is not an advertising or tracking cookie.

What we do not store: the recordings themselves. Finished videos are delivered to and stored by Telegram, not by Castkeep. We also never store your card details.

Where your recordings live

Castkeep uses Telegram as the place your videos are stored and delivered. When a recording is ready, it is sent to your Telegram chat, and the vault lets you re-send a past recording to your chat whenever you want. That means your videos sit in your Telegram account under Telegram's privacy policy, and your recordings are private to you: there are no public per-creator or per-recording pages, and a capture is viewable only in its owner's authenticated vault.

How we use what we collect

  • To monitor the creators you choose and record their streams.
  • To deliver recordings to your Telegram chat and let you re-send them from the vault.
  • To enforce your plan's limits and process upgrades.
  • To keep the service running, diagnose failures, and prevent abuse.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising or to build a profile of you.

Who we share it with

We share data only with the providers that make the service work, each acting under its own terms:

  • Telegram stores and delivers your recordings and handles vault sign-in.
  • Tribute processes card payments for paid plans; it handles your payment details, not us.
  • Hosting and infrastructure providers (our database host, web host, and object storage) that store account data and thumbnails on our behalf.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of Castkeep, its users, or the public.

How long we keep it

We keep your account data (your Telegram identifiers, watchlist, and recording metadata) while your account is active, so the vault keeps working and the bot keeps recognizing you. Diagnostic logs are kept only as long as they are useful for operating the service and are then rotated out. Your actual videos are retained by Telegram under its own retention rules, not ours. When you ask us to delete your account, we remove your account data as described below.

Your choices and rights

  • Remove a creator from your watchlist, or pause or mute it, anytime in the bot.
  • Sign out of the vault to clear your session.
  • Ask us to delete your account and the data we hold about you by messaging the Telegram bot or emailing support@castkeep.tv. Deleting your Castkeep account does not delete videos already saved in your Telegram; those are yours to manage in Telegram.
  • Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete the data we hold, or to object to certain uses. Contact us and we will honor valid requests.

Security

We hold as little as possible, scrub secrets and personal data from logs, and restrict who and what can reach the database. No system is perfectly secure, but minimizing what we store is our main protection: the sensitive asset, your video, lives in Telegram, not with us.

International users

Castkeep is operated from, and stores account data in, the United States. If you use the service from elsewhere, you understand that your data is processed in the United States and by the providers listed above.

Children

Castkeep is not for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a minor has used the service, contact us and we will remove the account.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service changes. When we make a material change, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you through the bot.
