Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Castkeep ("Castkeep", "we", "us"). They cover your use of the Castkeep Telegram bot, the website at castkeep.tv, and the vault. By adding a creator, sending a command to the bot, or signing in to the vault, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use Castkeep.

1. What Castkeep does

Castkeep records public live streams from creators you choose and delivers the finished recording to your Telegram chat. You add creators to a watchlist or trigger a one-off capture with the /rec command. We monitor those creators, record each live the moment it starts, and send you the video as one or more ordered parts. The vault is an optional web archive where you can browse and re-send your past recordings.

Castkeep is a tool you direct. We do not choose which streams to capture; you do. You are responsible for the creators you add and the captures you request.

2. Eligibility and your account

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to use Castkeep. Some streams may carry age restrictions or mature content set by the source platform; you are responsible for only recording content you are permitted to view.

Castkeep has no separate login or password. Your Telegram account is your account: you start the bot, and the vault signs you in with Telegram's own login. Keep your Telegram account secure. Anything done through your Telegram account is treated as done by you. Telegram is a third party with its own terms and privacy policy that govern your use of Telegram itself.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Castkeep to:

• Record content you do not have the right to record, including content protected by copyright where you lack permission, a license, or a fair-use or other legal basis.
• Capture private, password-protected, members-only, or paywalled streams you are not authorized to access, or to circumvent any access control on a source platform.
• Record content that is unlawful, including child sexual abuse material, non-consensual intimate imagery, or content that violates another person's privacy or publicity rights.
• Redistribute, resell, publish, or commercially exploit recordings in a way you are not licensed to. Castkeep is for keeping streams for your own use; what you are allowed to do with a recording afterward is set by the rights in the underlying content and the source platform's rules, not by us.
• Break the terms of service of any platform Castkeep records from, or any applicable law in your jurisdiction or the creator's.
• Abuse, overload, reverse engineer, scrape, or interfere with the Castkeep service, the bot, or its infrastructure, or attempt to exceed the limits of your plan by technical means.

You are solely responsible for the legality of the creators you add and the recordings you make and keep. Laws on recording live broadcasts differ by country and by platform. Make sure your use is lawful where you are.

4. Intellectual property and takedowns

Castkeep does not claim ownership of any stream it records. The content belongs to the creators and rights holders. The Castkeep name, site, and software are ours and may not be copied or reused except as these terms allow.

If you are a rights holder and believe Castkeep is being used to infringe your work, or if you are a creator who does not want your streams recorded through Castkeep, contact us at support@castkeep.tv. We will review valid requests, and we may remove access to recordings, block a creator from being recorded, and suspend accounts that misuse the service. Because finished videos are delivered into users' private Telegram chats and stored by Telegram, we can stop future captures and cut off re-sending from the vault, but we cannot delete a file already saved inside a user's Telegram.

5. Plans, billing, and cancellation

Castkeep offers a free plan and paid plans. The free plan records every live in full quality but caps each recording at one hour. Paid plans lift that cap and let you track and capture more creators at once. Current plans and prices are shown on the site and in the bot.

Paid plans are billed by card through our payment provider, Tribute. Subscriptions auto-renew monthly until cancelled, and you can cancel anytime in Tribute; cancellation stops the next renewal and your plan stays active through the period you already paid for. Tribute processes your payment and handles your card details under its own terms; we never see or store your full card number. Except where the law requires otherwise, payments are non-refundable. We may change prices or plan features, and we will give notice of a change before it applies to your next renewal.

Past recordings stay yours on every plan, including after you downgrade or cancel.

6. Service availability

Castkeep is provided on a best-effort basis. We cannot guarantee that every stream will be detected or captured, that a recording will be complete or uninterrupted, or that delivery will always succeed. Source platforms change their systems, streams end early, and networks fail. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. We are not responsible for a stream that is missed, partially recorded, or undeliverable.

7. Disclaimers

Castkeep is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any recording will be suitable for your purposes.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Castkeep will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, recordings, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to Castkeep is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim, or USD 50.

9. Indemnification

You agree to defend and hold us harmless from any claim, demand, or expense, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of your use of Castkeep, the recordings you make, or your breach of these terms or of any law or third-party right.

10. Suspension and termination

You can stop using Castkeep at any time by removing your creators and ceasing to use the bot, and you can ask us to delete your account data (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms, misuse the service, or use it unlawfully. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification, continue to apply.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. When we make a material change, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you through the bot. Continuing to use Castkeep after a change means you accept the updated terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located there for any dispute that is not resolved informally first.
